Sweeping The Yellow (扫黄)

In China, there are periodical sweeps of the "yellow" (=pornography/prostitution) industry.  In many cases, the press is invited along to document the proceedings.  This page is a collection of photographs from those sweeps.  It is up to the readers to have their own takes on social standards, moral turpitude, humanitarianism, human rights, authoritarianism, privacy, rights for sex workers, gender/class exploitation, underground economy, etc.
