Yesterday was the second day of the trial, as
prosecutor Peter Chapman finished his opening statement and proceeded to present

- The defendant had received via a doctor's prescription four different
kinds of drugs in August and October of the same year, and those drugs were consistent with
what was found in the deceased's stomach.

Chronology of events
November 2, 2003
3:45pm - Nancy Kissel offered two "secret recipe" milk shakes
to Robert Kissel and Andrew Tanzer
4:00pm - Andrew Tanzer went home very sleepy
5:00pm - Robert Kissel spoke with colleague David Noh, and sounded tired and
sleepy
5:30pm - Robert Kissel missed company conference call
5:58pm - Robert Kissel called the company secretary about getting tickets
for Harbourfest. This was his last call to anyone.
November 3, 2003
7:00am - Nancy Kissel explained her bandaged hand to the maid as due
to an injury caused by the toaster
7:30pm - Nancy Kissel went to purchase carpets and other stuff (determined
from her credit card usage)
November 4, 2003
9:00am - Nancy Kissel told the doctor that she was assaulted by Robert
Kissel two nights ago
7:00pm - Nancy Kissel showed the maid her hand injuries which she said was
due to Robert Kissel. She said Robert has left home and was probably
staying at a hotel.
November 5, 2003
10:00am - Nancy Kissel called the Parkview management office and
requested workers to move a heavy carpet into a storeroom.
2:00pm - Four workers moved the "carpet" with troplleys to the
storeroom in an adjacent building. Nancy Kissel paid them HK$500.
November 6, 2003
11:45am - Nancy Kissel filed a police report in the company of her
father. She said that Robert Kissel wanted to make love and assaulted
her when she refused.
Afternoon - Colleague David Noh heard that Robert's friend Bryna O'Shea has
been unable to find Robert after checking many hotels in Hong Kong.
David called the police for assistance.
Evening - The police visited the Parkview apartment. Nancy Kissel did
not admit to renting a storeroom.
11:35pm - The police entereds the storeroom after obtaining a search warrant,
and found the body of the deceased wrapped in a carpet.
November 7, 2003
2:41am - Nancy Kissel was arrested.
